1 in 4 girls and 1 in 7 boys will be abused before they turn 18 years old.  Your action today will help us heal these children and prevent other children from being sexually abused. Every child deserves to feel safe and protected.  Every child who is a victim of child sexual abuse deserves a new beginning.  Our programs and services are not possible without your support.

 In addition to directly impacting the Baltimore and Maryland communities, BCAC operates efficiently.  Studies conducted by the National Children's Alliance and the National Children's Advocacy Center estimate that a center like BCAC which costs about $1.5 million to operate annually would cost the City of Baltimore almost $5 million to run. Furthermore, most centers demonstrate that they can save government 40-60% by running the program under one roof.

Your gift will provide:

$2,000 - New beginnings for 10 abused children

$1,000 - Five-month family crisis counseling program

$500 - Prevention training and materials for one school's teachers and students

$200 - A new beginning for one sexually abused child, including a high-quality forensic interview, treatment referrals and medical examinations.

$100 - Educational materials for a parent support group

$50 - Taxi service for 3 families to and from BCAC
