Many of the children we help at BCAC are in transition and through no fault of their own are no longer in their homes. Some have witnessed the murder of a parent. Others have been moved out of an abusive household or one that cannot properly care for them and in 2015, we began offering medical examinations to children entering the foster system. Whatever the scenario that has brought these children to our doors, we want to do all we can to help them.
Can you imagine the trauma that these kids have seen in their short lives? Not only are they leaving their homes, but many of them are leaving with nothing but the clothes on their backs and maybe a bag of personal belongings. That’s why we’re launching a new initiative called Project ARK (Awesome and Ready Kids). These kids are awesome! Many have survived tremendous obstacles already in their lives, and we want to make sure they’re ready to transition into their new homes the best we can.We need you to make that happen. We’re in need of blankets, pajamas, diapers, toiletries, other comfort items, backpacks, and more for children of all ages. If you’re interested in donating to or volunteering with Project ARK, please contact Alyssa at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 443-923-7028.

Over the Phone
BCAC is grateful for the amazing generosity and support of people and organizations throughout Maryland. Often, people spend their own time, money, and effort organizing a fundraiser to benefit our work. These fundraisers vary in type and size, but include lemonade stands, car washes, golf tournaments, bowl-a-thons, jeans days and more.
If you are interested in organizing and hosting your own event to benefit BCAC , please review our policies, then check out our tips to help make your event a success. Lastly, please fill out our short third-party event agreement with a detailed description of your fundraising event because we’d like to know about it. Thank you for your efforts!
