Can You Help Our Children and Families?

Children's wishes:

  • o Flat screen TV &DVD player
  • o Updated movies & DVD's
  • o Movies & DVD's for 13 - 18 year olds§
  • o Computer with games
  • o Game system
  • o Music Center
  • o Magazines
  • o Arts & Crafts
  • o Extra crayons, pencils, books, and other "take home" items
  • o Kid friendly furniture
  • o Educational toys for all age groups
  • o Chalk board, chalk, and erasers

 Parents' wishes:

  • Changing table in the bathroom
  • Diapers &wipes
  • First Aid Kits
  • Updated adult and children magazines
  • Transportation for all families in groups
  • Grown up chairs and tables for the medical clinic

Would you like to VOLUNTEER?

  • Do activities with the kids, such as arts and crafts, reading, computer games
  • Helping with childcare and front desk coverage
  • Transfer slides to CD's
  • Serve as a secretary and or administrative assistant
  • Cater parent groups
  • Help with the basic functioning of the center

Staff wishes for families:

  • Extra gifts to give children on birthdays
  • Arts and crafts for the children to take home

 Staff wishes for The Center:

  • Flat screen TV to view interviews in observation room
  • LapTop PCs & Computer software that can develop online training for parents
  • Sponsors for local prevention conference

  • Caterers to donate food for family groups
  • Payment into entry fees to conventions and affairs for BCAC to promote public awareness of child sexual abuse

  • Repair/Recondition of Windows
